Port Blair, Nov. 22: In one of the rare incident that took place, a pregnant lady gave birth to a girl child inside MV Coral Queen, which was sailing from Hut Bay to Port Blair. The delivery took place on 21st Nov. 2020 after the vessel had set for sail at 2330 hrs.
It was a normal delivery which was possible with the support of the Doctor on board, assistance of a Senior Nurse of GB Pant Hospital, Smti Hamida Banu who happened to be on the ship.
Both mother and child are said to be in good health after the delivery.
