Description: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh invites applications for Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from students having a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. This fellowship is meant for the Biotechnology Industry Research Assist Council (BIRAC) under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded project under Dr Smita Pattanaik, Additional Professor, Dept. of Pharmacology.

Eligibility: The fellowship is open for candidates who hold a first-class master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognised university. They must have two years of relevant research experience and must fulfil the upper age limit as per GOI rules.

Scholarship 2: HSCST Fellowship Programme 2020

Description: Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology (HSCSIT) invites applications for HSCST Fellowship Programme 2020 from the candidates who have qualified JRF-NET (CSIR/UGC) and LS NET in joint CSIR-UGC test for JRF and LS (NET) for carrying out their PhD work in any of the University/Institute in Haryana.

Eligibility: The fellowship is open for students having an MSc or equivalent degree in any of the science subjects namely, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Sciences with minimum 55% marks. They must have qualified JRF-NET (CSIR/UGC) and LS-NET in joint CSIR-UGC Test for JRF and LS (NET) held on 16.06.2019. The maximum age should not be more than 28 years.

Prizes & Rewards: Up to INR 35,000 per month and other benefits

Scholarship 3: Asutosh Mookerjee Fellowships, ISCA 2021-22

Description: The Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA)  has announced this fellowship for the selected PhD degree holders who are Life Members of the Association and are active in high-quality research in their specialized disciplines but have superannuated from their service.

Eligibility: Indian ISCA Life Members who have superannuated and are between the age of 65 to 70 years, possess a PhD in Science/Engineering or MD in medicine and have a proven track record as evident from their Research publications and recognition can apply for this fellowship.

Prizes & Rewards: Selected candidates will get an honorarium up to INR 30,000 per month and a contingency grant of INR 1,00,000.
