A&N Administration Comes Up With Web Based Online Transfer Application 

Port Blair, April 29: In order to maintain complete transparency and streamline the process of transfers under Department of Education, A&N Administration, it has been decided by the Administration to invite applications from the Teaching & Non Teaching staff as well under the programme/ schedule for General Transfer 2013 through online.

A web based application for facilitating the Teacher for submission of request for transfer through online has been developed by DBRAIT, Dolly Gunj and placed in the State Data Centre. The website can be accessed over internet at www.andaman.gov.in.

All Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of Education Department are being informed that they can submit their requests for transfer under General Transfer-2013, online from 29th April, 2013 till 5.00 P.M. - 17th May, 2013 by accessing the website and, thereafter, following sequence of steps may be adopted. 1. Sign up (For new user). 2. Create user ID and Password. 3. Login. 4. Apply for transfer in the prescribed format available in the website. 5. Preview. 6. Print. 7. Track the status. 8. Change password if necessary. 9. Logout.

In case of any difficulty, the applicant may contact the Assistant Director of Education (Personnel) over phone 03192-245498 during office hours from 10.00 A.M to 4.30 P.M. Since this is the first year, applications already received in writing will be considered. However, such applicants have been advised to also apply online.
