Port Blair, June 11: Under National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, first round of indoor residual spray with DDT will be carried out in A&N Islands from 18.06.2013 to 02.09.2013 and second round from 04.09.2013 to 16.11.2013. In this regard, the Director of Health Services appeals to the general public to extend their cooperation to the staff attached to NVBDCP Unit of Directorate of Health Services for carrying out the activity.

The funeral of Late. Thomas Pappachen, Retd. Checking Inspector, Directorate of Shipping Services, R/o Buniyadabad will take place from his residence at 1.00 pm and will be taken to St. Mary’s Church, Mohanpura, Port Blair. The body will be buried at Prothrapur Christian graveyard.
