Port Blair, Dec. 20: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will be conducting a Quiz Competition on Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana for the students of Class VIII to XII based on the teachings of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. Each school can send as many participants as they want.
An objective written test will be held on the 23rd January 2013 and the finals would be held on the 27th January. The venue for the same would be announced in due course.
The finall winner will get a grand proze of a return air ticket to Malaysia from Chennai to visit ISKCON Centres in Kuala Lumpur and Pengang, including accommodation at the centre. There are many more prizes to be won other than participation certificate for all who appear in the written test.
Study materials and copies of the Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana would also be provided at a minimum cost, while the registration cum entry fees of Rs. 100/- would be charged from all participants and an Audio CD of The Bhagavad Gita will be given free of cost to all who register.
