Port Blair, Feb 13: Fireman (PC)/1403 KP Mammu has brought laurels to A & N Police and also to the A&N Islands by winning a Gold Medal in 200 mtr. Sprint in the first “National Fire Service Games & Fire Service Meet” organized by Director General Fire Service, Civil Defence & Home Guard, MHA, Govt of India from 2nd to 4th February, 2018 at Nagpur. In a highly competitive event having more than 200 participants, the 45 year old, Shri. KP Mammu clinched the Gold Medal through his sheer determination. He was awarded this medal on the closing ceremony by Director General (Fire Service, Civil Defence & Home Guard), MHA, Govt. of India.
