Port Blair, Sept. 9: The Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council,I P Singh will inaugurate online payment facility on 11th of September 2018 for citizens of Port Blair for payment of property tax, water charges and conservancy charges. Port Blair Municipal Council in collaboration with national informatics centre, Lucknow has replicated the eNagarsewa application in Port Blair city. Now, citizens can pay water charges, property tax, market rent online without coming to the PBMC counters. This project is the finest example of a success story of G2G collaboration.
The inauguration of online payment facility will be held at Dr. B R Ambedkar Auditorium, Port Blair at 10.30 AM
Also eNagarsewa application will be extended to every ward of Port Blair city through 19 common service centres by end of September. Citizens will be able to pay the PBMC taxes/charges in CSCs also by end of this month.
For online payment citizens may visit the state portal of Andaman and Nicobar Islands www.andaman.gov.in and look for the eNagarsewa services of PBMC tab. Alternatively citizens can directly access the URL: e-nagarsewaup.gov.in/india/home
