Port Blair, Sept. 12: A team of PS Neil Island has arrested one person namely Bilas Mondal R/o Neil Island with illicit marijuana/ganja on 05/09/2018. On the basis of secret information, a raiding team headed by SI K. Illangovan, SHO PS Neil Island with ASI Ganesh Kumar, PCs Sanjeep Kr. Das, Rosha, Kamal Baroi, Gurjiv Singh and HG(R) BiplabBairegi conducted a raid on accused Bilas Mondal and recovered approx. 1.1 kgs marijuana/ganja from the possession. Later he was arrested under relevant sections of NDPS Act 1985 and produced before the Hon’ble Court at Port Blair. He has been remanded to judicial custody.
