Port Blair, Oct. 10: An oath taking ceremony of 71st batch of recruit constables of Andaman and Nicobar Police was held at Police Training School, Prothrapur on 06/10/2018. Shri. Manoj.C, IPS Principal, PTS, Chief Guest of the function took the salute, Shri. Michael Raj, Vice Principal PTS and other Police personnel of PTS, Prothrapur and parents of the recruits were also present on this occasion. Altogether 06 recruit Police Constables including 04 lady constables took the oath of rendering dedicated service to the people with utmost sincerity.
The Principal, PTS congratulated the newly inducted Police Constables for successful completion of their basic training and stated that the Police Constables are the cutting edge of any Police force and the overall image of the Police depends on their conduct, behaviour and professionalism. The Chief Guest emphasized the necessity of inculcating the highest degree of discipline, integrity and commitment among them.
The Principal, PTS, Chief Guest also presented commendation certificates & cash rewards to those recruits who excelled in different fields during the training. PC/1127 Surjit Das was adjudged as the best in Outdoor, UAC, Drill & All Round Best, PC/1016 V. Karthika as best in Indoor (First) & Computer and PC/1090 E. Vanisiri as best in Indoor (Second) & Best Firer.
The oath taking ceremony was held under the overall supervision of the Principal, PTS, Shri. Manoj, C, IPS who also administered the oath of service to the trainees.
