Port Blair, Dec. 17: TheAndaman and Nicobar Command celebrated Vijay Diwas on 16th December 2018 at Military Station Birchgunj to commemorate the 47th anniversary of Victory in 1971 Indo-Pak War.
A Wreath Laying Ceremony was held on the occasion, to pay homage to the Martyrs of 1971 war. The event was presided over by Brigadier Gaurav Gautam, Army Component Commander, Andaman Nicobar Command.
The event was organized by 12th Battalion of the JAT Regiment, which had participated in the action of 1971 Indo-Pak War in the Eastern Theatre.
