Dharampal Satyapal Charitable Trust Offers Scholarship to Students of all Streams with Sarla Devi Scholarship 2019

The initiative by Dharampal Satyapal Charitable Trust supports the education of meritorious students belonging to financially underprivileged families. This merit cum means scholarship allows students a chance for a better future. The scholarship program is for the students pursuing Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational studies.Students based around Delhi NCR can get a scholarship of up to INR 75,000 subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the scholarship.

Last Date of application is March 31, 2019. To be considered eligible, one must fulfill all the mandated eligibility guidelines as below:

Science stream students:

               Be pursuing MBBS, Engineering or Nursing from reputed colleges

               Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs

               Have secured a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12Have opted for Science stream (PCB/PCM/PCMB) in Class 12

Arts stream students:

               Be pursuing a degree in LLB, Psychology or Mass communication

               Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs

               Have secured a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12Be from either Arts, Science or Commerce stream

Commerce stream students:

               Be aspiring to pursue CA/CS

               Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs

               Have secured a minimum of 80% marks in Class 12Be from either Arts, Science or Commerce stream.

Students in vocational courses:

               Be drop-out students willing to pursue vocational courses for employability (Mechanics, Electricians, Plumbers, Masons, Carpenters, Gardeners and Tailors)

               Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs

Eligible and selected scholars will be given various cash benefits to back their education. INR 75K will be given to each 14 scholars from the science stream, INR 20K to 50 students from the arts stream, INR 25K to 40 students from the commerce stream of study and 65 scholars from the vocational courses will receive INR 15K, each.
