The A&N Administration takes pride and is delighted at the selection of Master Esow Alben, talented cyclist from the Islands, for the Bal Shakti Puraskar - 2O18 (erstwhile National Child Award) which is given by the Government every year in recognition of exceptional achievements of children. This is a first in the history of these Islands that the talent and potential of one of our children has been recognized at such a prestigious stage.

The recognition of hard work and determination of this talented sportsperson will certainly be a source of inspiration for other fellow Islanders and their wards. And I am confident that the passion of the sportspersons from the Islands will continue to bring name, fame and glory to the country. I would also reiterate our commitment to provide adequate opportunity and support for the holistic growth and development of all our children.
