Port Blair, Jan 21: As a part of Police Week celebrations, a Recitation Competition was organized by Tuition Centre, Police Family Welfare Centre, Police Lines on 21.01.2019 at 1700 hrs for the wards of Police personnel to express and encourage the speaking skills and instill confidence in children. Around 30 tiny tots participated in the event and exhibited their confidence, thoughts, expression and talent. 

Ms. Usha Rangnani, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Armed Police, was the Chief Guest on the occasion, who appreciated the marvelous performance of the students and gave prizes to the winners. Master Nawaz Rehman bagged the first prize. Master Ronit & Ms. Anshika stood second & third respectively. Ms. Raksha Adhikari got the special prize for best expression (action & words). The children chose a variety of topics for their recitation like nature, trees, flower, mother, teacher, unity in diversity etc. with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
