Port Blair, Feb 20: In order to achieve the Election Commission's theme that "No Voter to be Left Behind" it has been decided to organise special camps at every polling stations on 23rd & 24th February 2019 to enroll all left out un-enrolled eligible persons in the electoral rolls so that no eligible voter is deprived of exercising their right to vote.
The EPIC holders shall also check their names in the electoral rolls and fill up Form-6, if their name does not exist in the electoral roll for some reason. The possession of EPIC does not guarantee franchise if the name of the person is not registered in the electoral roll of the respective polling station.
All the un-enrolled eligible persons are therefore requested to avail the opportunity to get them registered in electoral roll to cast their vote in the ensuing General Election-2019 for Lok Sabha.
