Port Blair, Feb 21: Rights For all (RFA), an Island based NGO aims to create a toy bank for all Anganwadi Centres across the islands in collaboration with the Directorate of Social Welfare through toy distribution in a phase wise manner.

RFA has just finished conducting a massive toy donation drive across various private schools in the city and encouraged the students to donate a toy each for a child they may never meet but be able to bring a smile on her face through their toy. Students were requested to donate a toy, which will be in a giftable condition, especially for young children. Six schools had been approached in the first phase namely Sagaritara School, VKV , KV–I and II, MGIS, UPS (Middle Point and Austinabad) schools and Carmel SSS.

Almost 2000 pieces of toys have been donated by the generous students who have shown a great sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards the underprivileged.  The principals and teachers of all schools have shown amazing cooperation in spreading the word that spreading smiles and happiness is the best service to God and humanity.
