Port Blair, July 11: Kala Kendra – a Society under the Department of Art & Culture is organizing a “Short Movie Making Competition’’. The competition is open to all. Movie should be based on any themes related to Andaman & Nicobar Islands and its flora and fauna, cultural heritage, Islands’ personalities and Gandhian values. The duration of the short play should be five to seven minutes. 

Soft copy of the short movie should be submitted at the Office of Kala Kendra, Directorate of Art & Culture, Cellular Jail Complex before 05.08.2019. The movie must be original and should not violate any provisions of the Indian Copyright Act. The prize winning Short Movie shall be decided by a panel of eminent Jury on the basis of good story/script, quality, presentation and other technical requirements.
