Port Blair, July 12: On 6th July 2019, an FIR was registered at PS Aberdeen regarding theft of a Scooty bearing registration No. KL-39-H-5023 from Port Blair near the office of Packers & Movers Pvt Ltd. Upon this, Head Constable Swapan Kumar Biswas started investigation and put tremendous efforts by deploying his sources to identify the accused persons.
On the basis of credible information, three juveniles were apprehended and at their instance, the stolen Scooty was recovered. The juveniles were produced before the Juvenile Court from where they were sent to juvenile home.
The entire operation took place under the close supervision of Insp. Sanjay Kumar, SHO PS Aberdeen under the direction of Shri. Nishant Gupta, DANIPS, SDPO South Andaman under the overall supervision of Shri. Deepak Yadav, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
