Port Blair, July 15: The team members of NGO namely "Tunighata People's Movement of Human Rights Welfare Association” under the leadership of its National Secretary Sanjib Kanjilal and State President Andaman Branch Mithun Das met the Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma at MP office.

During the meeting, Sanjib Kanjilal who is on visit our Isles congratulated Hon'ble M.P for his great victory in Lok Sabha Elections and highlighted the issues which has been raised by the general public of Kalighat Constituency during campaign of "Door to Door Awareness on Human Rights" organised by NGO from 7th June to 10th June.

Kanjilal and Mithun jointly submitted a letter to the M.P Sir with a request to look into the major issues of Kalighat Diglipur areas which included, not having ATM facilities at Kalighat Bazar due to which during emergency public are not able to get cash, Continuous power cut in Diglipur zone, Delay in construction work of Wooden Bridge connecting Nichintapur Village  and Kalighat Bazar. 

The team also highlighted the importance of tourism development work for the self employment generation in Kalighat constituency for youths, as this areas is having a number of options as tourist spot like Kalara Dam view, Mangrove Creek of Kaighat, Beach & Cave at Ramnagar Village, which can be develop by Andaman & Nicobar Administration. After a long discussion about all issues the M.P assured to look into the issues raised.
