Diglipur, Dec 2: Based on a reliable information, the police team of PS Kalighat headed by SI Roshan George, SHO PS Kalighat and consisting of PCs CK Mazumder, Abhijit Mondal, Sanjay SIkdar, HG PC Mondal under the supervision of SDPO Diglipur has arrested one person namely Animesh Ezzedder S/o Shri Ashok Ezzedder,  27 years R/o Nabagram, Kalight,  Ward No. 2 for possessing and transporting more than 4 Kgs of Ganja. A case under NDPS Act has been  registered at PS Kalighat. Further investigation is in progress. 

The district police is following a policy of zero tolerance towards any organized crime.
