Port Blair, Jan 16: The Islands Track Cyclist, created history by winning 03 Golds, 01 Silver and 01 Bronze Medal and registered Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the 3rd edition of Khelo India Youth Games 2020, medal tally at Guwahati, Assam.

Islands Khelo India Cycling team created history by winning first ever medal in the Khelo India Youth Games for Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the ongoing Khelo India Youth Games 2020.

In the track cycling U-17 Girl Cyclist, Ms.Tinamaya and Ms. Celestina started with the first Gold Medal for Islands in the Team Sprint.

Second Gold Medal bagged by the upcoming ace cyclist,  Mr. David Beckome in 500 Mtrs. Time  trial in U-17 Boys, category.

Third Gold medal was clinched by the budding talent of Car Nicobar, Ms. Celestina in 500 Mtrs Time Trial in U-17 Girls category. 

The Silver Medal was bagged by Ms.Nikita and Ms.Celestina in U-21 Girls, Team sprint.

The Bronze Medal was confirmed by the Boys U-17, Mr. Srijan Sengupta, Mr.John and Mr. David Beckome, in Team sprint.

The Secretary (Edn. and Sports), Director (Edn. and Sports) and all officers and staff of Education and Sports department have congratulated the outstanding performance and achievements of Islands Cyclist who made the Islands proud  by winning 03 Gold, 01 Silver and 01 Bronze  Medal.
