Car Nicobar, Jan 19: IGP, A&N Police Shri Sanjay Kumar, IPS inaugurated the Sawai Quarters at Car Nicobar in the presence of DIGP, A&N Police Shri Vijay Singh,IPS, SP Nicobar Shri Rajeev Kumar IPS, Tribal Council Leaders, Officers from local administration, APWD, Air Force and Police. These quarters consist of 08 type-II , 02 type-III and 01 Type-IV quarters.

These quarters will fulfil the long pending demand of posted police personnel for additional quarters.

On this occasion, a welcome speech was given by Shri. Rajeev Kumar, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District emphasizing the role of Police team and APWD officials who coordinated to get the construction work done at the earliest. 

At the end of the programme, a vote of thanks was given by ShriPrashantChoudhary, DANIPS DySP Car Nicobar.
