Port Blair, Jan 25: His Holiness Saint Shri Morari Bapu will be visiting the Islands from 30th January 2020 to 7th February 2020  to  recite Ram Katha at Port Blair.  His Holiness Saint Shri Morari Bapu’s name is synonymous to Ram Charit Manas which he recites in the simplest form of words to be understood by any common person. Shri Bapu has been reciting Ram Katha for almost now 60 years. He refers to his Ram Katha as “Prem Yagna” where people gather in name of love. He expressly calls out to humanity for love and respect for each other.

In Bapu’s words, the summary of righteousness (dharma) is threefold; Truth(Satya), Love(Prem) and Compassion(Karuna). He refers life to the flow of the River Ganges (Ganga Pravah) – similar to how new water continuously replaces the current stream. Bapu believes in flowing traditions (pravahiparampara) that evolve with the times.

Ram Katha at Port Blair will be recited from 9.00 AM to  1.30 PM at Ramakrishna Mission (Lawn) on all days except  on 30th January, 2020 the programme starts at 4.00 PM and ends at 7.00 PM.
