Port Blair, Jan 28: The Tourism Department, A & N Administration, in collaboration with stakeholders is organizing “Beach Festival” every year with the concept to popularize the beach activities in A&N Islands apart from providing sunset entertainment to the Islanders as well as the visiting tourists. As such, ‘Beach Festival-2020’ will be organized from 07th to 09th February, 2020. The main venue will be at Corbyn’s Cove, Port Blair, where delicious food courts, handicraft stalls, fun games, adventure water sports, and cultural and live musical programme will be arranged.

During the festival, ‘Beach Sports Competitions’ will also be organized at Corbyn’s Cove to encourage more participation from general public and tourists, which involves Beach Volley Ball for men & women, Tug of War for men & women, Coconut Tree climbing for men, Musical Chair for women & children, and Sand Sculpture competitions etc. Fisherman Dinghi Decoration and Fisherman Dinghi race competition will be an added attraction for the visitors. Stalls for sale of Food/Handicraft items and open space for fun games etc. will be allotted by PBMC on their own terms and conditions.
