Port Blair, July 1: The A & N State Coop. Bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility has felicitated the children of employees for securing highest two position in Class 12^th and Class 10^th Examination along with the Topper of Class 12^th in the CBSE Examination.

Shri. Bhagat Singh, Chairman of the Bank handed over the cheque to the Island Topper as well as the children of employees of the Bank for securing highest two position in Class 12^th and Class 10^th in a function organised in the Bank premises today.

The Island Topper Kumar. Ahmed Meeran, who scored 96.20 % marks was awarded a cash price of Rs 10,000. This cash award has been introduced for the first time by the Bank and shall be continued.

Among the children of employees of A & N State Coop. Bank, the cash prize of Rs 5,000 each to Master Inderneel Mitra (93.6%), S/o Shri. TK Mitra, Master Abhisekh James (90.2%), S/o Smt. Jolly James for class 12^th Examination and Kumari. Shruthi Menon (95%), D/o Shri. K Suresh and Master Nithin K George (91.2%), S/o Shri. Easo K George for class 10^th Examination.

At the outset Shri. Ravinder Rao, Managing Director welcomed the Chairman of the Bank, Parents, School children and all officials and staff of the bank and highlighted the bank’s commitment for motivating such talents of the Island. He requested the wards of the employees of the bank to work hard and bring laurel to the parents as well as to the bank.

In his key note address, the Chairman, Shri. Bhagat Singh gave valuable tips to students for their higher studies. He congratulated the parents and blessed all the students for their future endeavour. The programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by Shri. K Murugan, General Manager, ANSCB.
