Port Blair, Sept. 1:  The Art & Science Exhibition of Navy Children School, Port Blair aptly named “Spectrum”, was held at the Navy Children School on 28 Aug 14. It unveiled the innate potential of the children in portraying projects on Environment, Science, Mathematics, Arts, Drama, Painting, Nature, Literature etc.

Mrs. Anita Fernandes, Vice President DWWA was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. The journey began in the ‘Activity Hall’ abuzz with budding scientists from classes I – V who presented projects related to environmental issues, solar energy and conservation of nature. The other attractions were showcasing early evolution of man, presentation of touch screen system with JARVIS & gaming console, and evolution of music in India. In the Senior Science Section, a group showcasing Induction of heat & electricity attracted a lot of crowd and people exercised their minds on solving Mathematical puzzles. The Art & Craft section mesmerized the crowd with their tattoo & nail art skills. The world of literature focusing on drama by the great artists like William Shakespeare and Munshi Premchand were also well demonstrated. The creative talent and presentation abilities of the children were well appreciated by the visitors.
