Port Blair, March 31: TheRotary Club of Port Blair in association with DSGE (Deccan Society of Gastro Intestinal Endoscopists) & Directorate of Health Service conducted a free Gastroenterology Diagnostic Health Camp at PHC Havelock on 29th March 2015. This is the first time that such type of Gastroenterology Camp was held in the inter Island with a team of Gastro Practicing Physicians & Surgeons from Kolhapur.

Dr. S.K Paul, Director of Health Services, Dr Naveen Govind, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. (Mrs) Sujatha Govind and Dr.Dinesh, President Rotary Club coordinated the camp for the benefit of the Islanders. Rtn. Dr. Vibhav Mudhale Endoscopic Surgeon thanked the Rotary Club of Port Blair for assisting the team and successfully conducting the camp. The gastroenterologists were highly impressed and had a word of appreciation for the well maintained Primary Health Centre, Havelock and thanked the para-medical staff for their kind support during the camp. Free medicines were also distributed to the chronic patients by the visiting specialists. 

The following Doctors conducted the camp. Dr.Vibhav Mudhale M.S(Surgeon,Endoscopist), Dr.Chauhan Bhagwat M.S(Surgeon,Endoscopist), Dr.Rajesh Dharamsi D.M. (Gastro.), Dr.Deepak Patil M.S (Surg. endoscopist.),Dr.Ashish  Shahapure M.S, Dr.Snehal Malgave M.S, Dr.Sanjay Patil M.S, Dr.Vijay Kulloli M.S. Dr(Mrs) Ajita, Dr(Mrs)Janugade, Dr Mr &(Mrs) Lokhande, Dr(Mrs)Kulloli, Dr Gaurav, and Dr Mr & Mrs Langde. About 82 Gastroenterology  cases were seen  during the camp, 4 cases was referred to G.B Pant Hospital for further investigation and treatment.
