Port Blair, April 19: The District Administration in its endeavors to provide better, effective and hassle free services to the General Public has now introduced a modus operandi for simplification of present procedure for seeking permission for transfer of interest over the land (Sale/gift permission) and getting the land sub-divided as per the acquisition of interest.
Henceforth, every desirous tenant can effortlessly get their land sub-divided as per acquisition of interest over the land and seek necessary permission for transfer of interest over the land by simply following the below:-
1. Transfer of Interest over non-agricultural land (Sale/gift permission).
An application duly filled in the requisite format alongwith following documents to be submitted to the central dairy of the District office for seeking necessary permission.
• Application form duly filled.
• Latest record of right and sketch map duly authenticated by the area patwari.
• Affidavit duly sworn in by the recorded tenant.
• Valid No dues and non encumbrance certificate obtained from the respective Tehsildar.
Timeline: - 07 working days by which the revenue case would be disposed off.
Sub-Division of land: A joint application by all the co-tenants alongwith the following documents to be submitted to the central diary of the District office for allowing sub-division of land as per acquisition of interest.
• Latest record of right and sketch map of the proposed land duly authenticated by the area Patwari.
• Copy of sale deed/any instrument duly certifying the share of the tenants.
• Surrender certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar for common utility services as per the notified Master Plan.
• Proposal map with measurement duly consented by all the co-tenants.
Timeline: - 10 working days by which the revenue case would be disposed off.
