Port Blair, July 29: A new Mazdoor Union for the welfare of Mazdoors attached to the Department of Environment and Forests of Little Andaman Division has been formed on 28^th June, 2015 in the name of “Little Andaman Forest Employees Union (LAFEU)” with Kuldeep Rai Sharma as its President and Gopal Ch Mazumder as Vice President. Gyan Prakash Krishana and Vasu Devan Nair have been elected as General Secretaries while Rajesh Lall, K Kurma Rao, Nagesh Rao as Secretary, Asst Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Smti Mahalaxmi has been elected as Asst. Treasurer while N Ummer Farooque and Ms Latha were elected as organizing secretaries along with other four office bearers and twelve Executive members.
