Port Blair, Sept. 19: An audition for empanelling casual announcers of different languages will be held in All India Radio (AIR), Port Blair. The audition will be held for selecting casual announcers in Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Interested persons below the age of 35 years, residing within Municipal area, with graduation in any discipline can appear for the Audition. Candidates should have good knowledge of the concerned language, along with proficiency and good voice suitable for broadcast.
Those fulfilling the above criteria may apply with attested copies of the documents, to the Station Director, All India Radio before 28th September 2012. A demand draft of three hundred Rupees in the name of “Prasar Bharati (BCI), AIR Port Blair” is to be enclosed along with the application. SC/ST candidates will have to enclose a demand draft for Rupees two hundred twenty five only.
Candidates will have to appear for written test and voice test. Those who qualify in the same will have to attend five days Vani Certificate course after selection. Interested candidates can collect the application form from the Duty Room or Main Gate of All India Radio, Port Blair on all days including Saturday and Sunday.
