Port Blair, Oct. 5: A 2-day long festival on art, dance, song, traditional cultures etc. comprising various talent hunts & contests/ competitions for school children/ students/ adults, titled 'only~k2' and 'devi-2012' on 13th & 14th oct,2012 (from 9am-6pm) respectively is being organized by the renowned & popular socio-cultural forum "kasheesh", Port Blair along with its classical & folk dance academy - Jjhumurr Nrityangan'.
The different disciplines/ categories/ criterion of talent hunts and competitions are : (i) Art/drawing (upto class 7, class 8-10, class 11/12 or above-no age bar) (ii) Singing (only for male voices close to Kishore's - no age bar) (iii) dancing (upto class 8 & class 9-12) and (iv) Pooja-based traditional acts (exclusively for females -18 yrs & above. Winners of all the contests/ competitions shall be awarded suitably in a prize distribution ceremony to be held at about 5pm on 14th October.
