Port Blair, Aug 25: The State President, BJP, Shri. Ajoy Bairagi has requested the Lt. Governor and Chief Secretary to provide adequate supply of diesel to Diglipur, North and Middle Andaman. Bairagi in his letter mentioned that at present only one tanker of diesel is supplied to Diglipur, North and Middle Andaman in a week, whereas the actual requirement of diesel in the region is four tankers a week during normal times.

The shortage of diesel is hindering the developmental works going on in Diglipur and the general public is also suffering. The State President has thus requested that at least three tankers of diesel should be sent to Diglipur, North & Middle Andaman every week for smooth functioning of the developmental works and for the convenience of the general public of the region.
