On the occasion of Engineers' Day which is celebrated every year across the nation on 15th September being the birth anniversary of the greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, I pay my rich tribute and humble remembrance to the India's most prolific Civil engineer, Dam builder, Economist and Statesman.
On the occasion of Engineers' Day, I also extended my warm wishes, gratitude and appreciation to the entire engineering fraternity of Andaman and Nicobar Islands for making our lives simpler and worth living in these remote Islands which is circumstanced with numerous constraints. I feel proud of all Islands' engineers as through skilful organisation of capital and resources and with sheer dedication, hard work, engineering knowledge & skill and most importantly compassion for the Islands and the Islanders you could find solution to real life problems that are faced by the Islanders. I once again extend my warm wishes and sincere gratitude to all Engineers who are integral to our society and deserve to be given recognition for the work they perform and we shall be requiring more from them for a better and smarter tomorrow.
