Port Blair, Nov. 1: In continuation with the on-going Police Flag Day commemorative events, on 30/10/2020, A & N Traffic Police had organised a cleanliness drive under ‘Swatch Bharat Abhiyan’ at Corbyn’s Cove beach.

More than 200 personnel from Traffic/Security/Immigration unit have participated in the cleanliness drive. During the drive, Corbyn’s Cove beach and its surroundings were cleaned.

Later, they were briefed about the importance of Swatchata Mission led by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and also suggested remedial measures for prevention and precautions for COVID-19.

All the norms and guidelines/directions issued by MHA &A& N Administration related to prevention and containment of spread of COVID-19 were followed during the cleanliness drive.
