Port Blair, Nov. 4: Registration process is an important functionality of the district revenue administration. In order to achieve transparency and accountability in the system, the District Administration has been registering deeds through online process. Further, the District Administration would be thriving to make the entire process end to end including payment gateway integration.
To facilitate smooth functioning of registration process the district administration has set up help desk at the DC, Office South Andaman, which not only eliminates middle man but also infuse confidence among the general public.
Due to COVID -19 Pandemic situation the registration process was stopped temporarily. However, for the last 21 days the Sub Registrar office, South Andaman district has registered 33 deeds through online mode. Further, as on date the office of Sub registrar has zero pendency for registration.
