Port Blair, Nov. 5: Issuance of various certificates to the citizen is an important service rendered by the District Revenue Administration. One among such certificates is valuation certificate which is being issued by the District Administration.

In order to achieve transparency and accountability in the system the certificates are being issued through Online system. The district Administration is leaving no stone unturned to deliver the Valuation Certificate within the time frame. To facilitate citizen friendly approach and to ensure ease of doing business the District Administration has set up held desk at the Deputy Commissioner Office, South Andaman which will not only eliminate middle men but also infuse confidence amongst the general public.

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic situations the issuance of Valuation Certificate was stopped temporarily. However, for the last two months the Office of the Deputy Commissioner is issuing valuation certificate through online mode smoothly.

The general public is hereby requested to submit all the documents while applying online. Record of Right, Sketch map, Land revenue receipt, verified photographs of the site and other documents as applicable needs to be uploaded for the smooth processing of the certificate in timely completion/disposal.

As on date, only on-line applications are considered for issuing valuation Certificates except for request from Swaraj Dweep & Shaheed Dweep.
