Port Blair, Jan 12: To celebrate the 97th International Innerwheel Day, the Innerwheel Club of Port Blair had organised a function to felicitate municipal sewage cleaning female workers and caretakers of physically challenged children of Old Age Home, Ferrargunj. Cooking inductions were distributed to them followed by cutting of cake.
Plants like Tulsi, Hibiscus and many other were planted on the occasion. The function was held at the YNR Park, Aberdeen Bazar which is being maintained and beautified by the Club mainly for senior citizens.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were, Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Swami Shudhanand of Chinmaya Mission and Shri. Udhaya Kumar, Ex Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council.
