This is just the beginning of what I planned for the Isles’ youths: Kuldeep Rai Sharma
Port Blair, Jan 24: The free coaching centers for all competitive examinations, an initiative by Member of Parliament Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma received tremendous response from the youths of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Around 400 youths have enrolled for the free classes. The inaugural function was organized on 23rd January at 2.30 pm at Abardeen Bazar, where various religious gurus and prominent persons of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and members from Andaman Chamber of Commerce participated.
Addressing the gathering Sharma said, "I would like to extend my thanks and gratefulness to all the dignitaries including respected religious gurus, prominent persons and youths of our society who participated in the inauguration of the free coaching centres. Your appreciation and blessings have further strengthened my deep rooted devotion to assist the youths of Andaman and Nicobar in occupying the numerous vacant posts in various Government departments of Andaman and Nicobar Administration." He said, "Being a Member of Parliament from Andaman and Nicobar, this initiative has given me a sense of worthiness when I saw the smiling faces of those youths who enrolled for the classes. I can see and feel their dreams and aspirations in their twinkling eyes and beaming faces."
Sharma also unfolded some of his future plans for the youths. He said, "I would also like to assure the youths of the islands that this is just the beginning of what I plan for our youths. Out of many future plans, one of them is to start free coaching classes for science students from class 9th to 12th. I also have plans to provide free coaching for all technical and medical entrance examination such as NEET and JEE. Your blessings and love has been my driving force and I am sure that we will together take constructive and meaningful steps which will help shaping a brighter and prosperous future for the youths of our Andaman and Nicobar Islands."
All dignitaries present during the inauguration appreciated the move of the Member of Parliament. Addressing the youths, religious Guru and other dignitaries present in the occasion insisted that Youths should take care of their health and stay away from drug abuse. This initiative has laid a strong foundation towards building the future of youths of Andaman and Nicobar. The initiative also reminds the society about its responsibilities towards the youths. Today's youth is tomorrow's future of the Nation. Youths should also remember their responsibility towards building a better society. There is no alternative to hard work and the land demands their devotion and hard work."
The dignitaries who spoke on the occasion were Shri. Naresh Chandar Lall, Padama Sree awardee, Swami Chinmaya Mission, Swami R K Mission, Father Selvaraj, Imam Molvi Aleemuddeen, Sikh Guru, Shri Devdas, Shri. Som Naidu, Shri. Govind Ram, Shri. Sanjay Balan, Shri P G Paul, Shri. Mustafa, Shri. Prahalad Goel, Shri Mohd Jadwet and Shri Kunal Chowdhary.
The inaugural function concluded with a vote of thank proposed by Shri K Murgan.
