Port Blair, April 5: In view of the sudden surge in the cases of COVID positive cases, the District Administration have once again activated all the mechanism in place to monitor and contain the further spread of the virus. As part of the same, the District Administration has set up a dedicated control room in the District Office for monitoring/surveillance of vulnerable persons.

Further action has been initiated for door to door delivery of medicines on priority basis to the persons with ILI/SARI cases. The District Administration hereby appeals for the support of general public in the fight against the virus and request them to follow COVID-19 protocols.
