Port Blair, Jan. 17: As part of nationwide celebration of commemoration of 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on January 23, the Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration in collaboration with Kala Kendra is organizing two digital competitions i.e Painting competition & Instagram Reel Making /Mono Acting competition.
The theme of the competition is Netaji Subash Chandra Bose/INA/Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav/Patriotic. The competition is open for all age groups. The entries received from the participants will be uploaded in the social media accounts like Facebook/Instagram/Twitter by the Department /Society. The entries in both the categories shall be first judged by a panel and then posted on the official social media handle. Winner shall be decided by the total number of likes against each entry. The best 3 entries in each category will be suitably rewarded with cash prizes of Rs.5,000/-, Rs.3,000/- and Rs. 2,000/- respectively.
For painting competition, the interested participants shall submit photograph of painting ( painting size 35 x 28 cm) along with a declaration that it is his/her original work. The winners should submit the hard copy of the Painting, once declared winners. A video clip of maximum duration 60 seconds should be submitted for Instagram reel making /Mono acting competition with the declaration that it is their original work. The photographs /video should be of good quality with high resolution that should look good on social media. The copyright of the submitted work shall belong to the Department which can be used by the Department for its own purpose.
