Port Blair, Aug. 1: The District Administration of South Andaman has announced that all registration processes for landed property in the South Andaman District are now conducted online. The facility was launched by the Chief Secretary, Shri. Keshav Chandra IAS, in the presence of Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Smt. Nandini Paliwal, IAS, and Secretary Revenue, Shri. BS Jaglan, IAS. The project was spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner South Andaman, Shri. Arjun Sharma, IAS.

The public is also informed that the registration of Relinquishment Deeds has been integrated into the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS). This service can be accessed through the official portal at www.onlineregistrationani.gov.in.

This initiative aims to streamline the registration process, making it more efficient and user-friendly. In line with this, the administration is actively working towards the goal of completely eliminating manual interfaces in the registration process.
