Mayabunder, Aug 14: The North & Middle Andaman Police proudly celebrated the "Har Ghar Tiranga" initiative by organizing a series of patriotic programs aimed at fostering national pride and unity among the citizens of the N&MA district. The celebration, which spanned the entire district, saw enthusiastic participation from the public, including children and residents of remote villages.
To mark this significant occasion, the North & Middle Andaman Police organized a vibrant Tiranga Bike Rally, where both officers and citizens participated, riding through streets adorned with the Tiranga. Additionally, a Tiranga Village Parade was held, during which officers distributed the national flag to the public, ensuring that every household had the opportunity to proudly display the Tiranga.
Further, to inspire the younger generation and instill a sense of patriotism, a Tiranga Drawing Competition was held for school children. The event received a tremendous response, with children showcasing their creativity and love for the nation through their artwork. Demonstrating the district police’s commitment to inclusivity, the N&MA Police also reached out to remote and border villages within the district, distributing the Tiranga to residents. This effort ensured that even the most distant communities could participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.
Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police for the N&MA district, expressed gratitude to the community for their overwhelming participation.
