Port Blair, Sept. 5: In a resolute effort to assert the integrity of public lands, the District Administration of South Andaman conducted eviction drive at Shore Point village.

This operation successfully dismantled unauthorized encroachments, which had unlawfully occupied 0.10 hectares of prime government land. The encroachment, comprising a reinforced railing structure with RCC pillars which was removed with immediate effect, restoring the land to its rightful custodianship.

The swift action reflects the Administration’s unwavering commitment to preserving public resources and safeguarding government assets from unlawful occupation. By reclaiming this strategically important land, the District Administration sends a clear message that encroachment on public property will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
