Port Blair, Sept. 9: IGNOU Regional Centre Port Blair is delighted to announce an essay competition for the residents of islands on “Hindi Diwas 2024”. Learning Hindi opens a rich and diverse literary heritage, introduce to unique grammar and makes familiar to multiple dialects. It also diversifies opportunities for communication, education, business and jobs.This contest invites participants to write an essay to highlight the importance of Hindi Language, its role in the present time and what are the challenges it can face in future. The theme for essay is: ‘Swabhiman aur garv ki bhasha Hindi’.

Submission Guidelines:

1) Every resident of Andaman & Nicobar Islands above age of 16 years are eligible to participate and must write his/her name, mobile number, age, institution, city etc.

2) The best three entries will be selected, and the candidates will be felicitated with certificates.

3) The language used for essay must be Hindi.
