Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 27: The Delegation of Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (ANRKM) alongwith representatives of Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh met the Hon’ble Union Minister of Housing, Urban and Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA) Shri. Manohar Lal Kattar ji during the current visit to Port Blair.

A memorandum has been submitted to the Hon’ble Minister in respect to the regularisation of DRMs of Sri Vijayapuram Municipal Council as the DRMs were engaged by the SVPMC since 1999 and rendered more than 20 years of service for the organisation as well as for the City in different sections for the public utility services such as Sanitary works, Electrical, Road works, Mortuary van – Mechanical, Revenue etc.

The Hon’ble Minister given a patient hearing and discussed about the various verdicts of Hon’ble Supreme Court on the matter of Regularisation. The Hon’ble Minister told to bring all matter in the Ministry to pave a path for the betterment of the working class, in terms of Job security till the age of superannuation or Regularisation etc.

The delegation consisting of Shri. Jaydeep Kumar Dey, President, ANRKM, Shri. S. Biju Pillai, General Secretary, ANRKM, Shri. Shyam Sunder Rao, President, NSKS, Shri. Palaniyandi, Secretary, NSKS, Shri. Y. Santosh Kumar, Finance Secretary, NSKS and presented a memento to the Hon’ble Minister.

The General Secretary, ANRKM Shri. S. Biju Pillai expressed gratitude to Shri. Ajay Bairagi, State President, BJP for accommodating the appointment to present the grievances of working class.
