Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 1: The Andaman & Nicobar Police organised a grand ceremonial parade as a part of Rastriya Ekta Diwas to mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary. Observed on October 31st each year, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas serves as a powerful reminder of national unity, urging every citizen to work towards a united and secure India.

The event commenced with an impressive march by contingents from the Andaman & Nicobar Police, including the Executive Police, IRBN, Brass Band, and Ladies Pipe Band, adding a patriotic spirit to the occasion. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) also participated, symbolizing the collective strength of the country’s security forces. Led by Shri Shanta Bahadur, Assistant Commandant (IRBn), the parade proceeded from Dharmshala Junction to Govt. Press, and were greeted by enthusiastic crowds along the route. Stirring performances by the A&N Police Brass and Ladies Pipe Bands resonated with the audience, evoking a deep sense of pride.

The event was graced by Shri Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, IPS, Director General of Police, along with other senior officers of the A&N Police, reaffirming their commitment to promoting national unity.
