Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 11: The Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) along with Blood Center, G.B. Pant Hospital, Directorate of Health Services, has extended support to TSG Charitable Foundation, A & N Islands in organizing a Blood Donation Camp at Dairy Farm Community Hall on Nov.9. A total of 31 units of blood were donated by the voluntary donors.

The donors were examined for their eligibility to donate blood and were briefed the donor on various aspect and importance of blood donation. The technical team from Blood Center, G.B. Pant Hospital and A & N AIDS Control Society ensured that the donated blood units were screened for the blood transmissible diseases.
