Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 17: The Hindu Rashtra Shakti has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration in a letter to convene meeting to review the Member of Parliament’s important letters.
In a letter to the Chief Secretary, the HRS State President, Shri Rakeshwar Lall informed that such review meetings were convened by former Chief Secretary Shri Anindo Majumdar, IAS (AGMUT 1985) during the year 2016.
The Hindu Rashtra Shakti team of Andaman and Nicobar Islands believe that your attention to this matter is crucial. HRS proposes that the meeting be chaired by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration and include representatives from relevant departments (Concerned: Commissioner OR Secretary). This would enable us to have a comprehensive discussion on the issue and explore possible solutions on time bound manner.
The HRS requested for the following:
1) Prompt Communication: MPs' communications should be attended to promptly, and replies should be sent within a reasonable timeframe (minimum 15 days to 30 days)
2) Transparency and Accountability: The Administration should maintain transparency in their dealings and be accountable for their actions, ensuring that MPs can effectively scrutinize their performance.
3) Regular Meetings and Updates: Regular meetings between administration officers and MPs can help build trust and ensure that MPs are informed about important policy decisions and developments.
