I am happy to know that the Andaman and Nicobar Administration is observing the Vigilance Awareness Week from October 29th to November 3rd 2012 in a befitting manner with the focus on “Transparency in Public Procurement”.
Public procurement is an activity Vulnerable to corruption. Hence, enhancing transparency and accountability in public procurement is of vital public interest.
I am confident that with the combined effort of all sections of society, the menace of corruption can be rooted out in an expeditious manner.
