Port Blair, Dec. 11: An exhibition of paintings by the participants of ten day long “Srijan-Artist Camp” organized by the Directorate of Art & Culture, A&N Administration in collaboration with Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, GoI, will be inaugurated by Smti. Rina Ray, Pr. Secretary (Edn. & Health), A&N Administration on 12th December 2012 at 5.30p.m in Andaman Club.
During the ten day long camp which began on 3rd December 2012, the participants have prepared paintings on themes related to ‘Freedom Movement’ and ‘heritage’. Shri D.B. Biswas, Shri Sujit Kumar Roy, Shri S.N. Sreeprakash, Shri Mohan Rao, Shri Mahananda Gomasta, Shri Unni Pillai, Smti. Kavita Chaturvedi ,Smti.T. Parmila, Shri T. Parmeshwar Rao ,Shri Jai Prakash are taking part in the camp. These paintings will remain open for the public during 12th -14th December 2012 from 4 p.m to 7.00 p.m in the Andaman Club.
