Chennai, July 7: The U.S. Consulate General Chennai has extended the last date for submission of entries for the “Get Set, Green: My Message to World Leaders” blog contest and “Acts of Green” video contest.

 

To provide enough time for interested contestants requesting extensions and allow time for those only hearing about the contest now, the last date has been extended to July 31, 2011. The earlier deadline for submission of entries was July 10, 2011

 

First prize winners in each category (blog and video) will win Croma Electronic Store vouchers worth Rs. 13,000. The second prize winners in each category will win Croma Electronic Store vouchers worth Rs. 9,000.

 

To enter the blog contest, participants should submit their blog URL address, along with personal contact information (name, age, email ID/address, mailing address, and telephone/cell numbers) to: usconsulatechennaiblogcontest @ gmail.com. 

 

To enter the video contest, participants should submit their videos (three minutes or less) to:http://ytdusconsulatechennai.appspot.com/gogreen.html, and send their personal contact information to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
